CUSHURO GOLD PROJECT (PERU)
The Cushuro Gold Project comprises three mineral concessions located in the Alto Chicama gold district with title to two further concessions pending.
Situated in the Huamachuco Gold-Mining District, it includes a gold-mineralized zone (Zona Cushuro) that is similar to many operating mines in the district (Lagunas Norte, La Virgen, La Arena, El Toro and Santa Rosa) with low-grade epithermal deposit, disseminated gold and silver mineralization hosted in folded, faulted and silicified quartzites of the lower Cretaceous Chimu Formation.
The Cushuro Project spans an elevation range of 3,900-4,200 metres, is crossed by a power transmission line, and can be reached in 4-5 hours via well-maintained roads from Trujillo.
The author of the NI43-101 report concludes that Cushuro Project has all the characteristics of the operating mines in the district (Lagunas Norte, La Virgen, La Arena, El Toro and Santa Rosa) and, with the execution of a good exploration program, Cushuro Project could become a world class gold mine.
